Hardwood Recap "Big Bust"

With 10 games on the schedule last night, there was a surprisingly minimal amount of fantasy news, but I'll do my best to get you informed.

Atlanta Hawks
Tyronn Lue is compiling a strong case for why he should be starting at PG scoring 17 and 5 ast while claxton had just 5 point and 4 ast.
Josh Smith finally brought his FT% above 70 for the year.....i guess that could be considered encouraging, except that he left the game in the 3rd quarter after getting his eye scratched.

Boston Celtics
Al Jefferson seems to be regaining confidence and PT coming back from his injury. He could take his starting job back from Ryan Gomes sometime in the next month. Jefferson could be a good source of rebounds.

Charlotte Bobcats
Sean May had an off night, thouroughly annoying all of the owners that picked him up and promptly inserted him into their lineups. Maybe monitor a couple more games before you depend on him. Gerald Wallace showed signs of life logging 36 minutes

Chicago Bulls
Big Ben was a "Big Bust" again managing just one point and 4 rbs

Cleveland Cavaliers
Lebron was up to his old tricks scoring 31 and adding 8 ast and 7 rbs.

Dallas Mavericks
Eric Dampier has established himself as a true rebounding threat. Dirk's injusry did not seem to hamper him, but he shot just 4-15 from the field. However he was 10-10 from the line which can always give your team a boost.

Detroit Pistons
Tayshaun Prince scored 31, but it was against the Knicks so who cares. Rasheed wallace had just 6 points but tallied 15 boards. Billups had an amazing night going 8-9 from the field for 22 points while dropping 16 ast. Again, it was against the Knicks.

Indiana Pacers
Al Harrington hit 5-7 3's last night giving him 11 in his past 2 games and 14 in his past 3. He only has 24 treys on the season, but playing small forward, many more could be coming.

Milwaukee Bucks
Redd continued his scoring binge dropping 37 but the story of the game was Mo Williams putting up 31 on 15-22 shooting with 10 boards and 5 assists. This guy is a solid PG and has improved his scoring, however beware of his scoring numbers once Villanueva returns.

Minnesota Timberwolves
Mike James showed signs of life after basically falling off of the fantasy map. He went for 17 points and shot 3-4 from 3 pt land. Garnett did what he always does scoring 21 with 11 rbs and 2 blks but had a sloppy game with 7 TO.

New Orleans Hornets
Chris Paul turned out the 3rd tripple-double of his young career with 25 points, 11 rbs, and 18 ast. Tyson Chandler has his second straight 17 rb game, but unfortunately, thats the only way he can contribute to your fantasy team other than dropping your FT%.

New York Knicks
Eddy Curry is actually having a consistent streak of solid performances. But the Knicks lost and gave up 31 points to Tayshaun Prince. Pathetic.

Orlando Magic
Dwight Howard is a flat out beast. 18 pts 16 boards and 4 blocks. Can anyone say all-star? How about defensive player of the year? Just throwin that out there.

Philadelphia 76ers
Chris Webber is returning to action tonight and if he can stay healthy look for Iggy's numbers especially in rebounding to decline. Sell High!!!

Phoenix Suns
Raja Bell had another 5 3's last night and it is officially too late to buy low on him. However it is definitely time to sell high on Barbosa. Nash also had a phenominal game scoring 27 on 8-11 shooting with 11 ast and connecting on all four of his 3 pt attempts.

Portland Trail Blazers
Zach Randolph is one of the best stories of this season. He went off again last night finishing with 28 and 13. If this continues, he could have been the steal of your draft.

Sacramento Kings
Kevin Martin seems to be slowing down. He scored just 13 last night although it was on 5-6 shooting. Look for him in my buy low/sell high column this week.

Seattle SuperSonics
Nick Collison has arrived going for 21 and 8 in his first start of the season. It's about time. Ridnour hit a last second 3 pointer for the win, redeeming himself after missing 2 critical FT down the stretch that could have tied the game. I dont know what is wrong with his FT shooting right now, but Ridnour continues to be a dependable PG in terms of scoring, ast, and even in 3's and FG%.

Toronto Raptors
A lot of news with the Raptors as they one of the nice surprises in fantasy hoops this season. Bosh had a strong game with 25-11 and 3 blk on 9-15 shooting. Ford dished out 13 dimes to go along with his 10 pts. Garbajosa and #1 draft pick Bargnani continue to get PT and are interesting pickups right now.

Washington Wizards
Caron Butler is molding into a Lamar Odom type player with tripple-double tallent and excellent FT shooting and steals. Arenas is a stud and Jamison is turning out to be a nice pick if you grabbed him up in the middle rounds.
